Wednesday Night Programs

Our Wednesday Night Kids Worship is from 6:15 to 7:30 PM. It’s a good time for kids preschool age through grade 4. We have an awesome motion-packed worship time (which is not for those who like quiet). We have a great story/discussion time to look into the Bible and memory verse/prayer time. Each week we also have a variety of games, activities, mission activities, surprises, special guests, and just a great time.  This year’s kids worship: “We are God’s Team”.

Wednesday Night Café

Meals are about more than just food. They are also about relationships. We host a Café that serves family meals on Wednesday nights from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM from September – April when Kids‘ Light Worship is in session. Family meal doesn’t mean potluck, brown bag, or five-star catered meal. It is a nutritious, buffet-style meal prepared by our staff. The Café is open to all in our community. The cost is by donation and benefits a different ministry each week.

Our Jumpstart ministry is custom made for our 5th-8th grade students. From the goofy games to the way we share God’s word and even our times of discussion are shaped to meet the needs of the junior high heart. It is such a privilege to be able to work with this age group. They are old enough to be considering more serious life issues but still young enough to have fun and not be afraid to share openly. We have had an exciting year that started out with lessons inspired by the book Wonder  by R.J. Palacio. Starting with precepts, which we learned were truths to live by, we related them to scriptural truth and then applied them to our lives. Following that, we continued journeying through the Old Testament revealing that Bible stories are not random narratives but are an interconnected story of God’s relationship with his people. It was inspiring to watch this group of young students grow in knowledge and faith. Thank you for your prayers and support.
